In a way, yes—but not the usual kind. Because I focus on story structure, character arcs, pacing, and plot cohesion (not line-by-line edits), I need at least 25% of your manuscript or one complete plot arc to really dig in. A few thousand words won’t give us enough room to see if we vibe, or for me to offer meaningful insights. Think of it like casting a spell—you need the full ritual, not just the first chant.
What's your time line for getting my edit back?
My book isn't finished, can I still send it over?
I want to trad publish, can you help?
I can't afford one of the edits, what do I do?
Do you only edit reverse harem, fantasy, sci-fi, omegaverse, or supernatural?
Those are my sacred favorites, yes—but not strict boundaries. If your book has a heartbeat, a plot, and a little soul, I’ll likely be interested. The only true no-go zones are nonfiction and low-plot content that’s 95% spice with 5% new setting. I can give those a once-over for formatting or glaring typos, but I won’t be the right goblin for the job.

Ah, the age-old tale: a writer with magic in their fingers and moths in their coin purse. If this is your first journey into the world of fiction, congrats—it’s on the house. I’m building my grimoire of experience, and you need a manuscript that won’t fall into the void. Already a published adventurer but strapped for gold? Let’s barter. I accept monthly payments, skill trades, and tributes of other sorts. Just email me your pitch—we’ll find a way.

Sort of. My specialty is working with indie authors planning to self-publish on platforms like Kindle and Kobo. I can help your manuscript shine bright enough to attract even the pickiest dragon, but when it comes to query letters, agent rituals, and publisher preferences—you’ll need to do your own spellwork. Typically, trad publishing prep involves a query letter, synopsis, and sample chapters. If your manuscript gets accepted, it’ll be edited again (by other mortals). I’ll be your directional arrow, not the final key.

That depends on how far along your story-beast is. If you’re at 80% or more, absolutely—fill in the missing bits with your intentions, even if it's scribbled notes like “insert dramatic betrayal here” or “dragon eats someone???” We can work together to shape the ending you want, identify where the groundwork needs strengthening, or even discover the plot twist your subconscious has been hoarding. Endings are notoriously slippery for most authors—getting something down is often the key to unlocking everything else.
If you’re under 50%, we’re venturing into scene edit territory. I’ll review what you’ve got, but with major pieces of the puzzle missing, some of my notes may seem off or overly speculative. Sometimes your big reveal is just one chapter away from making me look foolish. This kind of feedback is best for writers who already have a solid vision and want to be sure their message is translating to the page. Many who go this route send chapters in batches—every 5 or 10—to check in without overwhelming their muse.
In the end, it’s entirely up to you. I promise all feedback is delivered with care, candor, and zero cursed scrolls. Probably.

I schedule edits with a bit of cushion in case life throws a pie in my face. Generally, expect 1 to 2 weeks after I receive your manuscript. I’ll message you through your preferred method the moment it’s done, complete with celebratory emojis.
